Leave the category menu open

I selected in the page settings “Open categories menu”, but the menu remains closed.
I’m in the megamarket template.
I want the category menu to be open all the time, like in the “Woodmart Main” template.

In the megamarket template, it’s not designed to show the menu all the time like in the default template. In the megamarket template, the menu shows via the “Menu” element (https://take.ms/JfV8A) therefore the “Open categories menu” will not work with it: https://take.ms/fqs0C , it works only with the “Categories” element: https://take.ms/wnZtW

So you need to change the element for showing the menu in the Header builder to show it all the time.

In general, I’m having trouble editing the mega menu. Of course, I want to add categories of products, and I don’t understand how to do it. I understood that a specific HTML block should be created for each category, but I don’t know how to connect it later to the big menu, and how to make sure that all the links will work.

Thank you. But when I add a category to the menu, it only gives me a limited range of options in the menu, and doesn’t allow me to actually set it as part of the mega menu. See the two attached pictures, one of a category that already exists in the template, and one of a category that I added.
