thomas-8605ParticipantHello,
with the Woodmart theme, no checkbox for Legal Terms is displayed on the checkout page.
However, when using the Gutenberg checkout, the checkbox is displayed. The Legal Terms checkbox is added by the Germanized plugin. The developer of the Germanized plugin was able to confirm that it works with other themes and that it also works when we deactivate the Woodmart checkout template.
But when they enabled woodmart theme and woodmart checkout template we do not see the checkbox for Legal Terms.
Tests:
The developers of the Germanized plugin have already checked the following:
All plugins were deactivated except the core plugins required by Woodmart.
All plugins was updated.
Theme was updated.
All patch installed.
With other themes its working great.Memory limit: 2G
Max input vars: 10000The issue can be reproduced as follows:
Currently, the Block/Gutenberg checkout is active. In this case, the Germanized checkbox is visible. Check attached screenshot.
After logging into WordPress, please activate the Woodmart Elementor checkout here:
Link 1 from private content. As soon as the Woodmart checkout is activated, the checkbox disappears.
The hooks are set correctly, see here:
Link 2 from private content. The debug log is empty.
With other themes such as XStore, Flatsome, storefront and Hello Theme, it is possible to use an Elementor checkout template and the Legal Terms checkbox is displayed correctly. Only with the Woodmart checkout is it not shown.
This is a stage and we give you permission to work on it and disable plugins for example.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
It looks like the plugin adds its custom content using the standard WooCommerce hook. When you create a custom layout with Elementor it doesn’t contain any default elements and hooks. It contains only those elements that you added with Elementor manually.
We have a special “Hook” element in Elementor that you can place to your custom layout and then the plugin will be able to add its custom content there. But we don’t know which one exactly it needs. You can either try to select all hooks one by one or contact plugin developers for help.
Read more information here https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/custom-hooks-and-plugins-compatibility/

thomas-8605ParticipantHello,
this is absolute not correct and also germanized confirmed this issue.
With xstore and flatsome and xstore its working great. Also with storefront. The plugin developers told us: if you use the default woocommerce hook it shoud work out of the box.
We adding all needed hooks to checkout and its not added to checkout. So finally woodmart is not longer compatible with germanized the support say and they told me you shoud contact them or remove the compatibility tag.

thomas-8605ParticipantAnd please read carefully the message from germanized:
– The Elementor Pro Checkout Template show the checkbox in checkout.
– The Gutenberg Checkout Widget show the checkbox.
– Xtore checkout template showing the checkbox.Problem starts only when germanized enable Woodmart Checkout Template and adding correct hooks.
This link https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/custom-hooks-and-plugins-compatibility/ is already checked by germanized and hooks als correct and present in woodmart checkout template. But its still not showing the checkbox.Adding the same hook into hello theme or flatsome: working great.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Yes, with the default hooks, it should work without any issues. However, it seems like you’re using your own custom layout, which might not be compatible with Germanized since they expect default hooks and structure. Could you please test how it works when your custom checkout layout is turned off?
Kind Regards

thomas-8605ParticipantAlready written:
Its working if we do not use woodmart checkout template. Its not working when we use the same hooks in woodmart checkout template since the last 3 updates. Please fix it.
Please remove the germanized compatibility tag if your custom checkout is not compatible with germanized.-

Artem TemosKeymasterIt means that our theme is fully compatible with the plugin. However, it’s possible that you’ve added some incorrect hooks or that the plugin requires additional code beyond these hooks. In such cases, we recommend reaching out to the plugin’s developers to inquire about any missing requirements. We’re more than willing to collaborate and add any necessary components.
Unfortunately, we can’t verify this compatibility because we don’t have complete knowledge of the plugin’s requirements and how its code functions.

thomas-8605ParticipantWe using your checkout template from woodmart and its not working.
We using checkout template from xstore and its working. The plugin developer (germanized pro) checked this case and say: in one of the last updates woodmart changed something and woodmart shoud fix it.
Where to write a negative review and cancle this subscription? If there is no solution we have to report this case to envato after write a negative review with all details from tire 2 support from germanized pro and report it to envto with the message from germanized.
Germanized wrote us its not longer compatible with their plugin and you say its compatible – but your checkout template is not longer working. This have no logic.

thomas-8605ParticipantHere you can see a dirty solution added by germanized to make your theme compatible with their plugin:
https://github.com/vendidero/woocommerce-germanized/commit/521b484700bb1d9c98071791727926773b5beac1added 25 minutes before… But they told us its not a clean way and you shoud fix it or remove the compatibility tag regarding germanized pro.

Artem TemosKeymasterPlease reach out to the creators of Germanized plugins and request that they provide us with the details regarding this issue. We are willing to collaborate with them. If they confirm via email to our team that the plugin is no longer compatible with WoodMart, we will make every effort to resolve this issue or remove the compatibility information from the theme description.
