License use on subdomain before going into live site
-
I’ve just purchased the amazing Woodmart theme a couple of hours ago. I was installing it at a subdomain in order to do staging site before going into live mode. The subdomain is within the same main domain that it’ll be later on live version.
Can I use the same license as staging and then back it up and upload it to the main domain? for instance: sandbox.domain.com (staging site) and then upload it to http://www.domain.com.
Hello,
Thank you for purchasing the WoodMart theme! Yes, you can activate the theme on your staging site (e.g., sandbox.domain.com) and then later activate it on your production site (e.g., http://www.domain.com) using the same license. This will allow you to set up and test your site thoroughly before going live.
If you need any further assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Best regards
Hi Artem! Thanks so much for your reply! Then when I install this should I select the “development domain” option, and when we go live, should I install without marking it?

Hello,
Yes, you should select the “development domain” option when installing on your staging site. When you move to the live site, you can install without marking it as a development domain. This will ensure that your staging environment does not count towards your license activation limit.
If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

Hi Artem, many thanks for your kind reply. I’ve got several doubts, on which two are the most important ones related to change from Elementor to WP Bakery, and regarding the translation .po and .mo files that aren’t working. Should I open a new topic or should I ask you in this thread?
Many thanks in advance
