EcommerceParticipantHello,
In products with variants, if a variant is selected, the upward scroll feature has been enabled in the theme settings for mobile. We do not want to use this upward scroll feature for some products. How can I disable the upward scroll feature based on product attributes, product, or category?Additional Information: Removing the variant image for the relevant products to disable the scroll feature may cause listing issues on Facebook Commerce Manager and Google Merchant.
The image of the relevant area in the theme settings has been sent in the private section.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Try to use our theme presets and disable the option where you want, here is our article on how to use them: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/theme-settings-presets/
Best Regards

EcommerceParticipantHi,
Can this be done with the method below, aside from the theme presets?A product page for each category was created using Elementor from the “layout” section specific to the categories. The layout pages were conditionally assigned to the categories. If the scroll-up feature can be disabled on these layout pages, it might make the process easier.
Additional Information: The use of presets seems very complicated, and we are afraid of disrupting the current workflow. Is it possible for you to provide a demo page with a video? Could you send an example video showing how to disable the scroll-up feature in a product category?

EcommerceParticipantThank you so much for your support. The only issue is that the video you recorded lags a lot. For future tasks, consider trying a different screen recording method 🙂

EcommerceParticipantHi
I excluded the relevant category in the presets and proceeded with the process, but the scroll effect is still being applied to some products. I’m sharing the video explanation in a private field.November 19, 2024 at 1:29 pm #613377

EcommerceParticipantI couldn’t fully understand what you meant. Will we disable the scroll feature by adding the products one by one? There are too many products. Isn’t it possible to disable them in bulk by selecting a category or subcategory?
November 19, 2024 at 4:58 pm #613485
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have explained the bulk selection through category selection. If you want to disable it for a specific product, you can do so individually for that product.
Best Regards

EcommerceParticipantWe performed a bulk action by selecting a category. However, why does the scroll movement persist in the variant selection of the product, even though the example product’s category matches the category in the bulk action?
I am sharing the steps I followed as a video in the private section again.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I regret to inform you that I tested this on a site site, and the category condition does not function on single product pages. You need to choose the condition for products for this purpose.
Best Regards

EcommerceParticipantI’m glad we were able to clarify the issue. There are too many products, and it’s very difficult to add conditions one by one in the presets. I kindly request you to develop the condition feature to include both “Category” and “Subcategory.” Could you release a patch for this?

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Sorry, but there is no option available for that in Theme Settings.
It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
Best Regards
