    Is it possible to add a link to an mp4 file in the gallery if the file is on an external server?
    Currently, you can add a link to YouTube and Vimeo, but you cannot add a link to mp4.

    This is my problem, because I have Mp4 video files on an external server and I show you this link in the private message

    Thanks for reaching to us and appreciate your patience.

    Sorry, but there is no such option in Theme Settings, unfortunately. Usually, galleries should use hosted images or videos for better experience.

    I don’t know if you understood me correctly….
    My video files are hosted on an external server (Mp4 files), but I cannot insert a link to them in galery, when I wanto to add video. The theme only provides a link for YouTube or Vimeo.
    Can you add options for mp4 video files?

    Yes, I fully understood your question.

    There is no such an option to put external video link, you should use self-hosted videos.

    Wait a minute. I have an MP4 file on my own server and I can link to it. It’s not a problem.

    BUT wow to enter this link into the gallery? I could insert a photo with the play icon to suggest that it is a video, but such a photo must have a link to an external server.

    I would like it if someone visits the product and the video starts automatically. And if this is not possible, how to link a photo in the gallery?

    I hope you know what I mean.

    I will add that I could upload an MP4 file to the gallery, because the theme allows it, but my hosting is too slow and the video interrupts. That’s why I want to make my own server. But as I mentioned in the previous email, I need to somehow direct the photo/icon from the gallery to my server. How do it ?

    Hi andrzej,

    There is no such an option by default. Such modifications require complicated customization that is not covered by our support, unfortunately.
