it-3157ParticipantHello, on our E-commerce page, we have multiple, separate, products that utilize the Linked variations feature in order to be linked together. All is working correctly except we are not able to translate the label of this in other languages. Polylang does not detect the attribute, nor can it be translated using Loco, because it is not a static variable.
Where can the linked variation label be found in the files or where is it defined? Since we already utilized some PHP code to translate other small parts of the webpage we thought we could do the same for the Linked variations label, but were not able to find it.
Thanks in advance!

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Is there any chance that you could give me access to the dashboard area so I can have a look at the settings on your website, please?
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Seems that now it works well, here is a video: https://take.ms/pcvKz
Please check it on your side and let me know if you still have the same issue.

it-3157ParticipantHello,
That type of Linked variations worked before, but what we were expecting is the same as in the first example shown in the documentation here. Not adding more variations to products, but having linked varying products. Like in the website we had The MINI and regular size linked together.
I did notice that it says to use it on a Simple product, but could it be that we are using it on a porduct type – Variation ?
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
In some cases, it works with the variations too, but we suggest using linked products only with the simple products for the proper work.

it-3157ParticipantHello,
In that case, what could we do about it? Because for our products we require them to have Variations. Simple-type products won’t cut it.Where is the code for linked variations located? Maybe we can try to manually add the translation depending on the selected language.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
The thing is that it makes no sense to use variations with linked variations together because variations already provide an opportunity similar to linked variations.
Here is the way where is the Linked variation situated:
inc/integrations/woocommerce/modules/linked-variations

it-3157ParticipantHello,
I understand all of that could have been done only using one of those variations. This solution seemed to fit our products best.
Will translate it manually via code now. Thank you for your help!
Kind Regards
