sdgumtree777ParticipantHi,
The hyperlinks in our text blocks aren’t working on the front end site. Is there a setting somewhere to fix this?
Thanks

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have visited your website. Please provide with some relevant screenshots of the area where you added the links with the admin panel login details of the website to check it myself and help you out accordingly.
Best Regards.

Your issue has been resolved. I have activated the parent theme and the links are working absolutely fine on my end.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I saw the screenshots you attached.
1) I haven’t deleted the child theme from your website. I just deactivated.
2) And for the icons I inspect your site and it shows CORS policy errors as you mentioned. It seems to be a problem with your server configuration and any font resources can’t be loaded.
Access-Control-Allow-Origin is disabled. Try to contact your hosting provider for help in this question.

3) And for the footer section I have fixed the alignment. Please clear cache and check back.
Best Regards.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
You are Most Welcome.
1) Yes, sometimes it’s a server problem that it refuses to load fonts from different resources. No, the changes you made to the child theme will not be lost when you update the main theme.
2) As I mentioned in my previous reply the CORS error occurred on your website. You may ask your hosting provider for further help.
3) As I mentioned in my previous reply I haven’t deleted your child theme. I just deactivated it to check the working of the parent theme. As I was trying to troubleshoot the issue of the links not working.
Best Regards.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
As you lost your child theme then you can create a new one and customize it according to your needs.
You can read our detailed documentation on how to setup child theme in the following link:

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
No it will not revert back all the changes that you have made to the parent theme. Changes normally lost from the parent theme when you update the theme.
You can take a complete backup of the website before making changes.
Best Regards.
