List does not look logical on Catalog page

    Hi.
    When I choose grid for the category archive in the Theme setting menu, both the Catalog main page (mysite.com/shop) and category pages (mysite.com/product-category/shirts) look ok, as an ordinary good-looking grid. But if I choose List, the category page shows products as a list, which is ok, but the Catalog main page also shows as list with 1 category per line without any additional text. Please check screenshot. This looks awful. Is there a way to stay with grid at the Catalog main page, but show the list on the category pages?

    I did some magic to fight the issue, but the question remains – if I choose List, it changes the layout not only for the page with products in the category, but also for the page with categories, which does not look good. Did you mean to do it so? Please, check my screenshots in the previous post.

    The Shop page with categories are showing as Grid https://prnt.sc/Ms4FXv-_rc-w while the products in category showing as List https://prnt.sc/TTeJzbVXEKlQ

    Did you resolve the issue by yourself? Please confirm me back.

    Yes, all ok now. I created a Shop page template manually using the template constructor.
