LiteSpeed Cache — which JS/CSS to exclude when combining

Hi, I’m optimizing my store (WooCommerce + WoodMart + Elementor Pro) with LiteSpeed Cache. The homepage loads 112 CSS and 107 JS files; ~106 come from WoodMart.

I’ve already enabled safely: Minify CSS, Minify JS, Defer JS (Diferido), font-display Swap. Cart and YITH product add-ons still work fine.

My questions:

Is it safe to enable Combine CSS and Combine JS in LiteSpeed with WoodMart? If yes, which handles/scripts should I add to the JS/CSS combine exclusion list to avoid breaking the slider, mega-menu, mini-cart and the YITH configurator?
WoodMart has its own Performance settings (Theme Settings). Should I use WoodMart’s optimization or LiteSpeed’s? Do they conflict?
Any known incompatibilities between WoodMart and LiteSpeed’s UCSS / Async CSS?

We generally recommend avoiding CSS/JS combination unless you have a specific reason to use it. Modern HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 servers handle multiple requests efficiently. So if your website works correctly with CSS/JS Minify and JS Defer enabled, we would suggest keeping CSS Combine and JS Combine disabled rather than enabling them just to reduce the number of requests.

There is also no universal list of WoodMart files that should be excluded from LiteSpeed optimization. WoodMart loads different scripts and styles depending on the enabled theme features and page content, so exclusions should normally be added only if a particular optimization causes an issue.

We recommend avoiding duplicate optimization features between WoodMart and your optimization plugin. For example, if you use image lazy loading provided by LiteSpeed Cache, you should keep WoodMart’s built-in image lazy loading disabled. The same principle applies to other overlapping optimization features — they should generally be handled by either the theme or the optimization plugin, but not both at the same time.
