    Hi there,

I installed the Loco translate plugin hoping to be able to translate the words and sentences of your thread but it doesn’t work as planned.

Although I have entered the translation from English to Serbian, the page still only displays sentences in English.

    Hello,

You need to change the language of your site: https://gyazo.com/5062898e44b9f9b5660bdf697d1c8a1e

and your WoodMart percent transition differs: https://gyazo.com/d0efd2e767fbebc555d7ea41a2648112

Please set the language and translate the parent theme even though you use the child theme.

Here is a video tutorial that should help you translate your website texts with a Loco Translate plugin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3

When you create the translation file in the same language which you have set in Dashboard > Settings > General, you can replace a string and rewrite it this way. Please check and follow this: https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/manual

Please check the video tutorial to see how to save the translation file correctly. You can remove the plugin and translations would remain. Also, translations would remain after each theme update.

In order to translate the WooCommerce strings, you need to create a separate translation in Loco > Plugins > WooCommerce in the same way as shown in the video.

    Best Regards

Ok, thanks for the detailed answer.

I was able to translate certain words on the site but now I have another problem.

When I switched the site to the Serbian language, some elements were translated into the Cyrillic alphabet instead of the Latin alphabet because that is the official alphabet of the Serbian language. How can I transfer the words from the photo to Latin using the Loco translate plugin? I can not find them….

Or tell me how to turn off the comment section as I would like to have that as an option if the client requests.

    Hi Elise,

First, I never said it was a mistake, just phrases I should translate.

The screenshot you sent me and the words on it show that it has nothing to do with the comment section on blogs!!!

So please read both messages I sent you in detail before you reply because if you had read you would have seen that I asked how to turn off comments on blogs

    #501575

    Hello,

Yes, you need to check the translation for Woocommerce on all the Woocommerce pages: product, categories, and others.

Please have a look at the translations added: https://gyazo.com/ed31f81a6d4ee1f9e661ff5283084418 and https://gyazo.com/6ec8f43b2cc6ff2bee8060b1d1d7b0a5 as you can see the same is shown on your site, you need to find these strings and change them, then clear the site and browser cache.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards

I am sorry but i have to ask you, is everything OK? I get the impression that you are not reading what I send you in the screenshots!

I sent you a screenshot of the phrases I need to translate, which are:
Edit your profile and log out?

You send me your screenshots with words that have nothing to do with what’s bothering me!!!

I repeat to you, I am on the Blog page, when I open the blog post https://analomjanski.com/exploring-atlantas-modern-homes/ I have a comment section in which I have the words (Edit your profile and Log out?). I looked for this in the WooCommerce plugin through Loco translate, but of course it didn’t find them, and I’m sending you screenshots as proof of that.

This is the second time I ask you to explain to me how to turn off the comment section, and you ignore my question for the second time!

Please concentrate or forward me to someone who can help me with this. This irritates me a lot because we have been corresponding for several days about this!!!

    I really can’t believe it,

I’ve been writing for several days what the problem is and what I want to achieve, and now you’re asking me what problem I want to solve!!!

The theme was installed two weeks ago so the theme is up to date!

    Hello,

We have recently launched a new version: https://gyazo.com/ee137aad3466cc90af9c8e81060b7013

As soon as you update the theme, the translation file is also updated and strings which you cannot find now, you will be found after the update.

Let us know if you still cannot find the string, in addition, please advise which issues are left unsolved.

    Best Regards

I still have an issue with translating the strings. Can you tell me where can i find those strings from Quick view on the products? Please see screen shot.

I found them through Loco translate in the Woodmart theme and translated them, but the front end does not show that translation.

Ok, i managed to translate those strings but this one (Required fields are marked) this string is gone, I just can’t find it anywhere, I’ve gone through all the strings in wordpress, woodmart theme, woocommerce that definitely has nothing to do with this string and it’s gone. Can you try to find it and tell me where it is?

    Hello,

If you trying to translate the stings in the post, download the latest archive with our theme and take the woodmart/languages/woodmart.pot file and replace it in your theme. Then click the “Sync” button in Loco Translate plugin.

if it does not help, please try to check the WordPress translations.

    Kind Regards

I thought you would try to find the string and show me on the recorded video like you did last time.

As I said in the previous message, I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it.

You are talking about downloading the archive and the .pot file. To be honest, I don’t know how to do it, so it wouldn’t hurt if you could help a little more…

But i already told you twice…I’ve searched everywhere for this string and can’t find it, I don’t know what else I need to do and write to make you to realize I’ve tried everything!!!

As proof, I’m sending you screenshots that I’ve tried everywhere, if you know the solution, help me, and if not, don’t drag me around for days, but give me one of my colleagues with whom I could solve this!!!

Can i ask you why didn’t you do it on my site but on someone else’s? You could also do it on my site if you already know the solution and how to achieve it???

And i tried as you told me, this is the umpteenth time I’ve tried to do this on the same location, only you’re someone who doesn’t read my messages and doesn’t look at the screen shots I send, and on top of all that you send me examples from some site that has nothing to do with my site.

I keep telling you, regardless of whether I clear the cache or not, regardless of the browser I use, I can’t find this string. I request that you move me to a higher level of support because I do not want to communicate with you on this topic anymore!

    Hello,

This string relates to WordPress, our support covers WoodMart theme only.

Try to create a translation for English (USA), then edit this translation, find the tab “Relocate” select this route: languages/en_US.po then save, and try to search the sting in your site language.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
