First of all, delete the code you have added for a while. Try to configure your logo in the Theme Settings > Header > Logo > set the max-width in the settings and upload a bigger image if it does not help, provide your site admin access to the private area so that I could check.

Please have a look at the screen https://gyazo.com/4e203ff293922464ea4660174aa42dc2 As you can see the brands are different on different products pages. You need to try different image sizes until you find the best one. As soon as you understand which size if the most effective, upload all brand images of the same size.
