DigitalbuddhaParticipantHi Woodmart Team,
I’ve been using your theme for around 5 years now across several projects , it’s always been one of my favorites. But recently, I’ve been running into multiple issues that seem related to AJAX or JavaScript. These problems are not connected to cache or the server, as I’ve already tested that part.
Issues I’m seeing:
Burger Menu:
On mobile, the burger icon only links to “#” and doesn’t open the sidebar menu.
No console errors show up.
I cleared all caches (theme, plugin, server, browser), but the issue remains.
Product Search:
The AJAX search doesn’t always show results.
Sometimes it gets stuck on loading or loses focus after typing a few letters.
Pagination:
On shop pages, clicking pagination doesn’t load new products properly.
When using AJAX pagination, it often replaces content incorrectly or doesn’t load at all.
Performance concern:
Because of these AJAX and JS loading issues, the site is sending more requests than usual, which increases the response time and causes server spikes — even for basic actions like opening the menu or switching pages.
What I’ve tried:
Disabled all plugins except WooCommerce and Woodmart.
Cleared all cache layers (including Cloudflare).
Regenerated CSS/JS from the theme settings.
Even tested on a fresh install , same issues.
So, it looks like something is breaking in the theme’s AJAX or JS functionality. These bugs are affecting the site experience quite a lot, especially for mobile users.
Could you please look into this? I’d be happy to share staging access or console logs if needed.
Thanks for your time and for continuing to improve Woodmart, it’s a great theme overall, just needs a few fixes here.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you for your detailed report and for being a loyal Woodmart user. To assist you further and pinpoint the cause of these AJAX and JavaScript issues, please update your theme to the latest version 8.3.3 if you haven’t already done so. After updating, temporarily switch to the parent Woodmart theme and disable all plugins except WooCommerce to rule out any conflicts.
If the problem persists after these steps, please share staging site access or any relevant console logs via the Private content field, so we can investigate more thoroughly.
We appreciate your patience and look forward to resolving this promptly.
Regards

DigitalbuddhaParticipantThank you for your quick response. I’ve already tried all the suggested steps — the theme is currently updated to version 8.3.3, and I’ve also tested using the parent Woodmart theme with only WooCommerce activated. Unfortunately, the issues still persist.
As mentioned earlier, this is not specific to a single website — I’ve noticed the same AJAX and JavaScript-related issues (burger menu, product search, and pagination) on multiple Woodmart-based sites. This clearly points to a problem within the theme itself rather than any plugin or cache conflict.
I had already shared the staging credentials in my previous message, but I’m including them again below for your convenience. Please go through the site and review the behavior in real time.
Kindly mark this as a high-priority issue, as it’s affecting multiple live projects. If possible, please share an update or fix by end of the day today.
Appreciate your support and quick attention to this matter.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We just tested this website, but don’t see any problems with JS and performance. All the functionality works as expected. Here is an example https://gyazo.com/5c436636da3681edf1a65aab52ba7015
Could you please clarify how to reproduce this issue on your website?
Kind Regards

DigitalbuddhaParticipantThe pagination of the product pages is the issue with this site, not the search function. cannot access other product pages

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.

DigitalbuddhaParticipantChecked with default themes, no issues found. The problem exists only with Woodmart, confirming it’s theme-related.
Please check this from your end as well. I’ve already tried all possible troubleshooting methods, so a direct review from your side would be appreciated to avoid further delays.

DigitalbuddhaParticipantSo is this issue comes from wordpress?

Artem TemosKeymasterYes, it looks like a problem with WordPress or the WooCommerce plugin. Maybe resaving permalinks in Settings -> Permalinks will help.
