1. Installing the update
Don’t upload the whole package you downloaded from ThemeForest. Unzip it first and find the installable woodmart.zip file inside. Then:
– Navigate to Appearance -> Themes -> Add New Theme and click Upload Theme.
– Select woodmart.zip and click Install Now.
– When WordPress shows the current and uploaded versions, click Replace current with uploaded.
– Then go to WoodMart -> Plugins and update Woodmart Core and the other required plugins.
Please make a backup before updating. If WordPress won’t let you upload the file because it’s too large, you can upload it by FTP: https://woodmarttheme.com/docs/upload-theme-with-ftp/
2. Wishlist heart and “New” label
– Wishlist heart: go to Theme Settings, open the Wishlist settings, and make sure the wishlist is enabled and Show button on products in loop is turned on. Also check that Only for logged in is turned off, or the heart won’t show for guest visitors.
– “New” label: go to Theme Settings -> Shop -> Product labels and make sure the “New” label is enabled. Then do one of these:
– To label all recently added products: in Theme Settings -> Shop, set the number of days in the Mark product as “New” for the period. The label is removed automatically after that many days, so it may simply have expired on your products.
– To label one product: edit the product, open Extra options from theme -> General and turn on Permanent “New” status, or set a date in Mark product as “New” till date.
If the products on your home page use a custom Product Loop Item layout, you also need to add the Product labels element to that layout.
3. To configure a separate mobile image:
Navigate to Slides > All Slides > Edit the desired slide with Elementor > Open Slide Settings from the top-left corner and upload a separate image for Mobile.
