Main Carousel auto height – On Mobile

I really want to use the following option:
– Main carousel auto height
Useful when you have product images with different height.
But when enabled, there is an issue with the mobile website.
When you load a single product page immediately there is no issue.
But when you browse through the shop and tap on a product to go to the single product page. The first image does not get the correct size. It stays really small. Only after tapping an image its working again.
Is this a known issue?
