raffa_rugParticipantHello,
I’m experiencing an issue with the manual product sorting display on my shop.
Despite having set the manual sorting option, my products are displayed in alphabetical order (see attached screenshot).
Until recently, the products were displayed correctly, but now they are not.
I tried deactivating the recently installed gift card plugin, but nothing changed.
The only other modification made was updating the theme template.
In short, even though I reorder the products from WordPress > Products > All Products, the sorting is not saved in the section.
All plugins are up to date, I don’t have any caching plugins on the site, and I have already cleared the server cache.
Could you please help me identify what might be causing this issue?
Thank you in advance for your support.Attachments:

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like WooCommerce Storefront?
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards

raffa_rugParticipantI tried, and with the suggested theme, the manual positioning works.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Please confirm the permission for plugin deactivation and switching to the parent/default theme for testing. Also, send access to the admin panel.
Looking forward to collaborating with you!

raffa_rugParticipantSure, you can find the access information attached.
The “Danea Easyfatt Import/Export” plugin manages the inventory and product upload on the website.February 14, 2025 at 5:35 pm #638204
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
It seems that the password is wrong – https://prnt.sc/8I2RZywtm117 , could you please update it?
Looking forward to hearing back from you!

raffa_rugParticipanttry these one..
February 17, 2025 at 12:49 pm #638637
raffa_rugParticipantAre there any updates?
Our clients need to be able to add new products to the website.
Is it feasible, or would it affect your plugin testing work?February 17, 2025 at 4:42 pm #638749
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
That issue happens when the “Show single variation” option is enabled, in this case, the product orders could work incorrectly. https://monosnap.com/file/JB9sn2HAEv3SGwLYnNp43WZB6J1xam

February 17, 2025 at 5:37 pm #638773
raffa_rugParticipantOk, what does the screenshot refer to?
Can we indicate the order there?February 17, 2025 at 5:39 pm #638777
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
It’s refer to the option which will not work correctly with the “Show single variation”, disable “Show single variation” in Theme Settings, clear the cache and recheck the issue with the sorting.
Kind Regards
February 17, 2025 at 5:44 pm #638778
raffa_rugParticipant“Show single variations” is compatible with sorting by publication date?
February 19, 2025 at 10:40 am #639292
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
If you meant “by the most recent” – https://prnt.sc/zlhAauqb8uU2 so it works.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Kind Regards
February 22, 2025 at 10:42 am #640096
raffa_rugParticipantThe “by the most recent” product sorting isn’t working either.
I tried changing the publication date of the GIACCA SHELL MULTISTRIPE product and even setting it to draft and republishing it, but the order remains unchanged.
We need to display product variations, but we also need to be able to arrange the shop displays as we prefer.
How can we fix this?February 22, 2025 at 10:43 am #640097
raffa_rugParticipantI also tried clearing both the server cache and the WooCommerce cache, but the issue persists…
February 25, 2025 at 10:31 am #640729
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I apologize for the delay.
I checked and it works, the first product has order as 80 next 72, and the rest are 0 – https://prnt.sc/mKf9gAHbcSl3
Clarify how you have checked it so that on your end it doesn’t work.
Kind Regards
February 25, 2025 at 11:30 am #640765
raffa_rugParticipantWe disabled the “show the variation product” option, and it seemed to work on the New In page. However, we then noticed it isn’t working on the Baby page or any of the others. For example, on the Baby page, the first product shown has a sorting order of 271 but is still displayed first.
Please, I need you to be more precise in resolving this issue and, if necessary, release a new version of the theme with updates so that these problems can be fixed.

raffa_rugParticipantSorry, after rereading, I realized that what we did might not be clear:
– Disabled “Show Variation Product”
– Cleared the cache
– Re-enabled “Show Variation Product”
– Set the product menu orderThis is correctly ordered within the “New In” category, but in the other categories (Baby and Kids), the order is not respected.
For example, if the first product in the “New In” page has menu order 1, in the Baby and Kids categories, the first product displayed has menu order 271.February 26, 2025 at 12:40 pm #641080
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Please send the FTP access to the server files.
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards
February 26, 2025 at 12:56 pm #641094
raffa_rugParticipantI have created an FTP account for you. Could you update me on the reason for this request?
February 26, 2025 at 5:26 pm #641202
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
We resave the products that had not the right order and all of them started to show with the correct order. Therefore, if you see that issue again, resave those products that show incorrectly and recheck the issue.
Kind Regards
February 27, 2025 at 5:00 pm #641485
raffa_rugParticipantI don’t understand how you can say it works.
Compared to yesterday, nothing has changed, and even after running new tests, the product order still doesn’t change.Neither with manual order nor with sorting by the most recent.
It’s not possible to set an order.February 27, 2025 at 8:48 pm #641534
raffa_rugParticipantUpdate_
– The Baby and Kids categories just updated themselves, displaying the same order as NEW IN, without anyone making any changes. (The display order is correct.)
– It is possible to sort the Outlet subcategories (I sorted sweatshirts, t-shirts, and bodysuits/rompers).
– It is not possible to sort the Outlet main category, which displays products in the order: 1-281-282-191…Attachments:

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Check how it works now – https://prnt.sc/uIjpFMzGVDAD and let me know.
Thank you for your time and patience.
Kind Regards
March 3, 2025 at 12:00 pm #642265
raffa_rugParticipantNow everything seems to be working fine.
What was the issue?
Is there anything specific that needs to be done when we need to change the product order again?
Besides resaving them after assigning the position…Is it recommended to always keep the theme updated?
Thank you!
March 3, 2025 at 4:13 pm #642381
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I have re-updated all products from that category via bulk edit. Then it started to show well.
If you want to have new demo templates and new features, you can always keep the theme updated. But firstly, I suggest updating the theme on the staging site to check whether the site works well after the update.
Kind Regards
March 5, 2025 at 11:32 am #642918
raffa_rugParticipantperfect, thank you
