manually add a button for add to cart but it seems not function.

1) I added a button on the homepage and named it ‘Add to Cart,’ but it doesn’t seem to function as expected. It only add the item on the cart after clicking it, and the cart slider on the right side doesn’t show, and the page simply refreshes. (https://domain.com/?add-to-cart=411)
2) If I set it as “Buy Now,” it will redirect to the checkout page after being clicked. I want this functionality only on a specific button on the homepage. How can I achieve this? Coz i set it under the woocommerce settings there, and it appear the same function to all the button.
Hello,
1. Please check how it works on the default Storefront theme.
2. The buy now button is available only for the products and it works only for the product page, it’s not possible to define this button just on the Home page.
