May I have a way to remove the sub-categories(child) from the product?

May I have a way to remove the subcategories(child) from the product, I want it to show only the parent-categorie.

Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that.

It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
