BamboonParticipantHi,
I am a bit confused when it comes to create the mega menu.
I have seen your well documented articles about that but I am still confused : do I need to create html block or html category blocks ? So, I can’t use the “category products” to create my menu ? I am asking this for seo purpose. Please kindly check my doc attached because I have created category html blocks and the sub elements are not showing on the front.
Thanks for your help

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You need to create one level menu in Appearance > Menu using Product categories.
At the same time you create HTML blocks that would be mega menu blocks: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/html-blocks/
Then you need to insert the HTML block iD into the menu item as described in the documentation.

And I could’nt add a font awesome on “selection de Noël”, look how it is showing (I have used the code you gave in your documentation).Thank you for our help

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You can assign an HTML block to one menu item, if you want to show the sub-categories, add them into the HTML block.
You need to change the Design in the menu item to Set size or Full-width
You can upload an image inside the menu item or as the background of the row.

BamboonParticipantHi, What about the awesome font code that is not working ?
How to add an icone to the menu ?November 24, 2021 at 10:19 am #334213
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You can replace the Extra menu list with Info Box to insert the icon, in addition, insert a class to the element so that you could change the font for the custom selector by means of Advanced typography: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/advanced-typography-settings-2/
If you need help with the custom selector finding, let us know as soon as you set the classes for all the Inforboxes.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You need to create an HTML block: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/html-blocks/
Then using Extra menu list – Create a menu list for your mega menu dropdown, see the main menu – you add subcategories https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/shortcodes/
And finally, configure the mega menu: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/create-mega-menu/
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards
