Megamenu like Fashion Demo

I can’t seem to understand how to create the effect of the image extending to the right of the megamenu as you have it on the demo site in the fashion megamenu. I’ve created the image to the size and with the transparency as you have the guy – and think I have set up the menu correctly but the image doesn’t “hang over” like yours does.
