I was able to begin using the WP Bakery add on and editing the menus. I would swear that the top menu (that I am trying to edit) was displaying in place and able to be edited in place via WP Bakery, when I first started, but it isn’t anymore. Anyway, I worked a little bit, but then was having some troubles. I tried to update WP Bakery. It would not update, like they said would happen. They put me in a position of not having a choice but to purchase it, since I had purchased it previously. Long story short, I purchased it (this time from Envato). Now I should be back to a full license on WP Bakery, though it won’t allow me to update it and I cannot access support. The whole significance of all of that is that even though I purchased the extended support (1 year), WP Bakery won’t allow me access to the support area. So, I cannot reach out to them on this issue, and I cannot find any place on Envato to reach out to them either.

When I use WP Bakery, the top menu is displaying below the actual menu, and one of the columns is hidden behind the categories. I am not finding a way to temporarily hide the categories menu, and I don’t want to delete it. But, I can’t see the menu, and cannot get my mouse where it needs to be to edit the items line by line. I am attaching a very confusing screen shot to try to show you what I am talking about. I tried disabling all unnecessary plug ins, but the problem persists. I also created a new WP install, (in a sub-domain), but the problem exists there too. This makes me think that it could be a compatibility issue, but I am not certain that’s what it is. My webhost is trying to restore the new install with the back up that I made of my current WP before doing the big upgrade to 5.4. Currently the new install is the newest version of WordPress, and it does allow me to update WP Bakery, but updating it did not fix the problem. too.

Finally, again, I cannot reach out to WP Bakery, and I don’t see any place on Envato to get help.

I hope that you can offer some advice on this issue. I am spending hours and hours and getting no where.

    Hello,

I saw the screenshot you attached. The Header section of the theme is not editable using the WP-Bakery page builder. Because in our theme we have a section that controls all the elements in the header of the theme. That’s why you are unable to edit it using Wp-Bakery Page Builder.

You will find all the settings related to the header under WoodMart >> Header Builder.

Sorry but we haven’t tested our theme with such an addon yet. You can try contacting the Wp-Bakery Page builder support for further help.

    Best Regards.

I am not trying to edit the header, this problem is with the menu.

I’m not sure what you meant at the end about testing the theme with a certain add on. I am having this problem with all but the required add ons disabled.

My webhost was able to restore the new installation of WordPress to pre-update status, but I am still having the problem with the categories laying over top of the menu items that I am trying to edit. All plug ins, except those required, have been disabled.

    Hello,

As I mentioned in my previous reply the menu is coming from the header builder and you cannot edit it using Wp-Bakery Page Builder. All the Settings related to the header elements are under WoodMart >> Header Builder.

I am trying to edit menu items that are in the menu-shop html block. These are not in the header. I cannot access the line items in the menu, because they are hidden behind the category menu.

    Hello,

I saw the screenshot you attached. The area you mentioned in the screenshot is coming from an HTML Block that’s why you are unable to edit it from the header builder. To edit the area you need to edit the HTML Block used as the HTML Block as dropdown for the specific menu item from Appearance >> Menus >> Edit Menu >> Edit item.

Then you can edit the specific HTML Block from Dashboard >> HTML Blocks.

    Best Regards.

We are still not on the same page. I am trying to edit the actual line items/links in the menu. I am going through the HTML blocks, but I cannot access the first menu, because it is behind the categories. Even if I reduce it down to one column, it is still hidden behind the categories.

I am attaching screenshots to better show you.

    Hello,

I saw the screenshots you attached and I got what you are trying to edit. As I mentioned in my previous reply you can edit the areas by editing the HTML Block used in the particular menu items html drop down on hover element from Appearance >> Menus.
