Menu item image

I see in the menu item an option to upload image
Can I use image instead of icon from fontawome?
And how, because I tried and it doesn’t work

This image option adds a background for this menu item dropdown with subitems. Unfortunately, there is no option for other icons that font awesome in our theme yet.
