Menu item not highlighted when opening subpage

Hi,
I have a main menu where one item has subitems. Usually when you open a page, that page is highlighted in the menu (in my case with the line underneath the text). However, this doesn’t work for subitem pages, ie. when I open a page that is a subitem, the parent is not highlighted.
Example menu structure:
– Home
– Page A
– Other pages
– Subpage 1
– Subpage 2
When I open “Page A”, the menu item is highlighted. When I open “Subpage 1”, “Other pages” is not highlighted.
Can you provide a fix for this?

It is not working because inspiration is your separate page. When you enter the page it will highlight the page menu item. Try to add the inspiration page in the main navigation then click on the sub menu it will highlight the inspiration menu in the header.

Obviously I can’t just put all the submenu items in the main menu, that is not a viable solution. My question was how to highlight the parent when the child page is active.
I found another workaround in the meantime for the website in question. I would still appreciate a solution for how to achieve this, if possible, since it’s likely going to come up with future projects as well.
