The meta tags and meta description are controlled by the SEO plugin not our theme.
You can use for example Yoast that provides you options to change it. We recommend you the free Yoast SEO plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/
You will insert the title and description for each page as per your needs and all the resources will take exactly the same.
