Missing parameter ?reset-link-sent=true after password reset

I tested the forgot password feature. Reached the page https://mydomain.com/my-account/lost-password/, entered my email and clicked on reset password. Normally the link is followed by a parameter: ?reset-link-sent=true to inform me that the reset password email has been sent. However, after clicking on reset password, the link to my site does not change and the page goes blank. Please help me to find out what is causing this.

To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.

In this case, you need to create a staging development copy of your website. There, you will be able to do such kind of experiments without any harm to your production website.
