Mobile categories menu stay active when clicking to another page

Hi, Could you please help with Mobile categories menu to stay active when clicking on another page? it keeps reverting back to the main menu and then you have to click categories again.

We have confirmed from the Test Site, if any of the Categories is clicked under the Mobile Menu that Categories remains selected like it is shown in the following brief Video: https://nimb.ws/QMChDw

On your Site, can you please once make sure your WoodMart theme and Core plugin is updated to the latest version and then check back the issue again on your Site. The latest version of the Theme running is 7.1.4 and the Core version running is 1.0.36. If it is not updated then you can update the Theme and Core following the Documentation Guide: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/

If the issue still persists after updating the Theme and Core plugin, then could you please once try deactivating all the third party Plugins on your Site, remaining the Theme required ones activated. If the issue gets resolved, then reactivate them one by one to see which Plugin is causing the issue. If this doesn’t work for you then once also, try to activate the Parent Theme on your Site if you are using Child Theme on your Site.

If somehow the issue still persists, then please take complete Backup of your Site first, then provide us the WP-ADMIN Login details of your Site in the Private Content field along with the permission to completely debug your Site which includes deactivating all the third party Plugins and removal of on-Site Customization changes too, so that we can thoroughly check this issue on your Site and assist you accordingly.

I checked the demo site and after choosing a category and opening the menu again. It opens to the menu tab and not categories on mobile. Using Chrome.

Sorry to say but we have checked the Demo Site of Mega Market too for the Mobile view, things seem to be working fine there too.

That video is too blurry to see anything. On megamarket the categories is in the left menu and if you click a menu tab item like sevices it reverts back to categories tab when you open the menu again. So this is definitely a bug the developer should be made aware of. A selected tab should stay selected when you click on a menu link from it.

Could you please share your version of the issue checking in the form of a brief Video shared with us so that we can get a better idea regarding this and check this further on our end and if it would be an issue at the Theme end then it will surely be looked upon and considered for the Development Department.

Sorry for the inconvenience and delay in this regard.

We have discussed the mentioned concern with our Development Department and they have confirmed, when the page is loaded and you open the Mobile Menu the first tab is always shown
even if you visit a page from the second page, the selected Menu Item tab will not be opened by default
there is no such option in our Theme for that unfortunately.

To make it work your way like you want, you need to have your Categories Menu tab placed at first instead of any other Menu tab under the Mobile Menu toggle. In this way when you open the Mobile Toggle Menu after clicking any Category you will get to see the selected Category page Menu Item activated already.
