tiendaspyParticipantHi, how are you?
I’m working on my website, https://www.tiendaspy.com/ using Woodmart.
I have a question wondering the side menu on mobile, and the answers I found on the forum don’t fully answer to my doubts.
I know that the mobile version of the Categories Side Menu is different from the Desk version that takes HTML
However, in my case, I use categories-Sub Categories-SubSub Categories.
Therefore, navigation through menus is key.
I invite you to look at my menus, on desktop and HTML, if you look at Accesorios, Bebidas, etc… You’ll see the arborescence. And I created the menu placing each sub categories sliding it on the right so it becomes a “sub-element”
The thing is, on mobile it only shows the main one. So I created the “Accesorio” Category, that’s just personalized links, and there the navigation from Category to Sub to SubSub is easier and the separation of products is respected.
Should I create a menu like this considering that I would represent 100+ links to create manually? Or is there something I’m not doing correctly using just the Category input in Appearence-Menu?
Sorry if it’s not 100% clear! Great template btw!

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I’m good. Yes I have seen your sub sub categories in your mobile menu like Accesorio >> Bebidas >> Hoppies.
Of Course it will work even if you have 100 + sub sub categories. But in the mobile menu it will display the subcategories downward and in the desktop it show the subcategories to right side.
So you must not have to ignore the width of your site. As if you have 100+ links. Probably those links goes outside to your layout. Yes you can create a menu considering that you would represent 100+ links. But remember the above situation which applied on categories menu currently.
Best Regards.

tiendaspyParticipantHi again,
The doubt I have is : for creating a menu with categories and a fluid navigation on mobile where I can go from Catego to Sub to SubSub:
Do I have to create a menu with links such as “Accesorio”? Or is there a way to achieve the same result by using the “Categoy” input in the Appearence-Menu settings?
Thank you

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
If you need to create a custom menu same like as category menu then remember that you need to select the menu as a “Mobile Side Menu” from Appearance >> Menu.

You do not need to use custom links you just have to drag and drop the specific product categories in your menu. In case if you want to achieve something else then you can share screenshots for better understanding.
Best Regards.
