    Hello,

My refund request was refused with a copy-paste answer that does not mention the problem. Here it is again, with numbers.

You describe WoodMart as “the most optimized theme for WooCommerce at the moment” (your own reply on the item page: https://themeforest.net/comments/28281322).

Clean install: WooCommerce, Gutenberg only, no page builder, 137 products, WoodMart and WoodMart Child up to date.
Lighthouse mobile, median of 5 runs, same server, same copy of the site:
    – WoodMart as installed: LCP 3.8 to 5.1 s on the category, product, shop, search and cart pages.
    – WoodMart with its own performance options enabled (list available on request): 3.6 to 5.1 s.
    – A free theme on the same copy of the site: 2.0 to 2.3 s.
Google’s threshold is 2.5 s. Only the theme changes. Page caching is not the answer: it never applies to the cart, checkout and search pages, and both themes were measured under identical conditions.

The site is a local development copy (http://localhost:8080, the domain activated with my purchase code) and has never been published, so I cannot give you admin access. I can send the full Lighthouse JSON reports and the exact list of plugins and settings.

Please answer within 3 business days with the settings that bring these pages under 2.5 s on mobile, or confirm that this is not possible. Without a fix, I will raise a dispute with Envato with this topic, the reports and the refund exchange.

    Regards

    Hi there,

Thank you for the detailed numbers.

We can’t treat this comparison as proof that WoodMart is slow, because the two themes don’t produce the same page under the same conditions. Page speed depends on many things: which elements and blocks are on the page, which options are enabled, how many images load and at what sizes, how scripts and styles are loaded, and so on. A free theme on the same database still builds a different page. To fairly say which theme is faster, both have to be tested under identical conditions with equivalent output. We have run comparisons like this many times and shared the results on our blog.

An LCP of 3.6 to 5.1 s on these pages suggests that some things can still be optimized or set up better. Without seeing the pages themselves, we can’t say what is causing it or which settings would bring these pages under 2.5 s. While the site only runs on localhost, we can’t check it at all. That’s why we can’t give you a fixed list of settings right now, and we also can’t confirm that it’s impossible.

We’d be glad to look into this with you. To do that, please:

    – Put a copy of the site on a temporary staging URL that we can open, and share the WordPress admin login in the Private Content field of this topic. We can then check the category, product, shop, search and cart pages directly.

In the meantime, please go through our materials on this topic. These guides cover the options that affect LCP most:

    – Preload LCP Image (Theme Settings -> Performance -> LCP), including setting a separate LCP image for mobile: https://woodmarttheme.com/docs/explanation-of-preload-lcp-image-option/
    – Image lazy loading: https://woodmarttheme.com/docs/image-lazy-loading/
    – Images optimizer: https://woodmarttheme.com/docs/images-optimizer/

    Kind regards,

    Hi there ,

You cannot name a single setting that brings these pages under 2.5 s. The site is a local copy, never online: no staging, no admin access. The measurements were done on the same server, same copy, same pages; only the theme changed. My deadline ends on Monday, November 2. Without a fix by then, I raise the dispute with Envato
