medshow37ParticipantOn the mobile version of my website, I chose a drilldown menu layout. This issue arises when creating a mobile menu with multiple tabs. On my website, the main menu and submenu have vertical scrolling that follows the same position. In other words, when I select a bottom tab in the main menu, the submenu appears in the same position as the main menu. As a result, visitors in the submenu have to scroll back up to click the “Back to Main Menu” button, which is located at the top. This causes the main menu to return to the top position as well. I want the main menu and submenu to have independent scrolling, so they do not follow the same position.

medshow37ParticipantThis issue occurs when there are a large number of items in the main menu, exceeding approximately 14 items. This problem appears with the items more than item number 14, which usually require scrolling down to access them.
In this video, I will scroll down to the lower items and select item number 19 in main menu.
Note that in the submenu, it is supposed to appear from the top at the “Back to” button area rather than in the middle.
“It is also supposed that when I click the ‘back to’ button, it should take me back to the main menu at the last position I left it, which is at the lower items, instead of taking me back to the top of the main menu.
Therefore, I believe that both the main menu page and the sub-menu page follow each other in scrolling.”

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
The only workaround we can use here is to scroll the menu list to the top when you open a subitem. But it wouldn’t be possible to scroll to that item when you click on the Back button. Let me know if you need this and we will prepare a custom JS snippet for this.
Kind Regards

medshow37ParticipantThanks for your help.
The reason for the success of any theme, including the Woodmart theme, is the attention to small details. Our role is to alert you to any existing issues and collaborate with you, as your success is our success. I switched to your theme for several reasons, but the most important one is the presence of the “drilldown in submenu layout” feature. I asked you about this feature a year and a half ago, and you informed me that it was not available and not supported at that time. When I learned that it was available, I immediately switched to your Woodmart theme.
If it is possible to fix the issue as soon as possible, it would be better for all of us. We wish you continued health and wellness.

Artem TemosKeymasterThank you very much for the feedback. We highly appreciate it. Of course, we always struggle to make our theme better. And we will do our best to find a workaround to this as well.
As for your case, we recommend reorganizing your menu structure to avoid such long lists. Also, if you find any websites with drilldown menus and long lists, please let us know so we can see how they solve such problems.February 7, 2025 at 4:21 pm #636371
medshow37ParticipantI can’t shorten my menu list.
For website example:
http://www.shein.com
Also, if you look at the “Back to” button in the submenu list on shein.com, it is fixed to the top and not hidden when scrolling down.February 7, 2025 at 5:22 pm #636385
Artem TemosKeymasterThank you very much for the example. We will investigate and consider improving this.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you for your patience and continuous feedback regarding the mobile menu issue. We understand the importance of small details in enhancing the user experience. Unfortunately, as mentioned earlier, our current menu functionality does not support independent scrolling for the main and submenus as seen in your provided example.
We appreciate your examples of how this is addressed on other sites, and please be assured that we are investigating this to consider improvements. We recommend monitoring our updates for any enhancements in this regard.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Kind regards
