Mobile menu not working as programmed

I setup my mobile menu to display our product categories by default. (We have many categories and I like the way the off canvas mobile menu navigates through them). When I include the mobile menu in the header builder in the desktop “Main Header” area where I want it, it does not work as programmed, it seems to pick its own settings. When I move it to the “Header Bottom” area, it works with my selected options. I’ve tried clearing caches, disabling all plugins etc and it still behaves this way.

I think I figured it out, for anyone interested. In the header builder, I had to switch to the mobile view > edit my mobile menu settings and save. Now it shows the correct settings on the desktop view as well. Thanks!
