Chaleur NaturelleParticipantHello,
I have a question about the Mobile version HTML block (screenshot attached).
If I have two separate version for mobile and Desktop, does it have an impact on my SEO ?
Usually, I have less text on the mobile version than on the desktop version. Do you know which version Google takes to do the ranking?
Thank you for your answer!

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
The “Mobile version HTML block” option improves site loading speed on mobile devices. For the mobile devices ranking Google takes the “Mobile version HTML block” if it is enabled.
I’d be happy to assist if you have any other questions or concerns.
Kind Regards

Chaleur NaturelleParticipantThank you for your answer.
Thus, it means that if I shorten the text too much on the mobile version, it will hinder my rankings for the mobile version. It makes sense.
Nonetheless, I have a concern about site loading speed on mobile devices. My developer is struggling to improve the page speed on mobile. I have a score of 50 for the mobile version and a score of 90 for the desktop version on my homepage. And HTML block for mobile has been enabled on the homepage.
Here is the link of the test:

Luke NielsenKeymasterHi,
Google always scores with 20-50 points mobile performance for 99% of websites built with WordPress. To get more points you need to have a really light page. For example remove all sliders, carousels and leave a few banners and products only. Then you will get a high result. But usually, our theme works very fast on mobile devices and doesn’t have any problems with performance. We suggest you test it on a few mobile devices and you will see that there are no real performance problems. Also, read this article from the WP Rocket team that has a huge experience on WordPress optimizations https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/85-google-page-speed-grade-does-not-improve
