Modifications to default "Product Styles"

Hi!

In woodmart settings -> Product Archive -> Product Styles we are given a choice of ways to display the products.

I have noticed that only some of these are incompatible with WCFM. eg; some don’t show the vendor name and some do.

The specific one we are talking about is the “Quick” design. This is closest to how we want to display it. But we want the vendor name to appear too. (vendor name appears fine when using “Standard Button” and some other designs)

I’ve taken a look in the theme’s woocommerce folder and found the content-product-*.php files. Was hoping to see in the Standard file how it pulls the vendor name and apply the same in the Quick style but I don’t see how its pulling the vendor info, can see nothing relating to “vendor” or “author” etc??

Any help would be appreciated. We really need this to display vendor name under the product image.

Thanks for your response, but I dont think CSS will resolve this, I’ve explored that option already, the data just isnt included when using Quick design.

Hi, Sorry you should not require admin access (I cannot provide it anyway, this is being developed locally). This is a very easy issue to replicate in your own environment.

Is there any reason you cant test in your own dev environment? If you just display products using Quick with WCFM enabled you will see exactly what I mean.

This is not a CSS issue. The Quick method of displaying products simple does not pull and display the vendor name.

WCFM vendor name position is controlled by WCFM plugin and cant be changed by modifying theme product hover files. WCFM vendor position can be controlled by plugin option “WCFM Dashboard => Markteplace settings => Sold By Position”. That option allow you to choose place, after which Sold by badge will be displayed: Below Title, Below Price, Below Short Description, Below Add to Cart (https://prnt.sc/1qlgx5y). Some Woodmart product designs didn’t allow vendor name to be placed “Below Add to Cart” button because not enough space there or it break hover layout and in that case it was hidden via CSS.

If you want to use vendor name on Woodmart Quick product design, you need:

1. Navigate to: “WCFM Dashboard => Markteplace settings => Sold By Position”.
2. Choose Sold By Position which is supported by your current product design. In case with “Quick” design, it will be “Below Title” and “Below Price” (https://prnt.sc/1qlgai2).
3. Save plugin settings.
