i want to create a new layout in woodmart for a certain category such as “fruit” and include this category for the layout. at the same time i create another layout where i have also included the same category “fruit”, because i select “all product archives” as condition and do not exclude the fruit. there are therefore two different conditions for the same category. how does woodmart layout behave here, which layout is given priority?

is there a hierarchy of how things are processed? from general to specific? if a condition is created globally for categories and a child category is to have a different layout, do i have to exclude it from the global conditions first? Does this have an effect on performance if I don’t exclude it?

    Hello,

Layout that is related to a specific category will have a higher priority, so in your case, the layout for the category “fruit” will have higher priority against the layout with the “all product archives” condition.

    Kind Regards
