skibinskiyParticipantHello Woodmart team,
We are experiencing a mobile navigation issue on iOS devices with the Woodmart theme.
Website: https://www.leador.ro/
Theme: Woodmart 8.4.1
WordPress: 6.9.4
WooCommerce: 10.7.0
PHP: 8.3.6
Test device: iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 26Issue:
On iOS, inside the Woodmart mobile side navigation/off-canvas menu, some navigation items require multiple taps before the click actually triggers. The first tap often seems to activate a hover/focus/open state, but does not navigate immediately.Important notes:
The issue happens both in Safari and Chrome on iOS.
Android works correctly.
General site navigation is now stable.
We disabled caching/optimization layers for debugging.
Varnish was also disabled/bypassed during testing.
OPcache, Redis and WordPress cache were fixed server-side.
The issue still persists only on iOS mobile navigation and during product page scroll, so it seems related to iOS/WebKit touch handling combined with the Woodmart mobile menu script or CSS behavior.What we need:
Can you please check if there is a known issue or recommended fix for Woodmart mobile side navigation on iOS where menu links require multiple taps? And also when users navigate between pages, and when you go product page and scroll it freezes, and the product page is not working.We suspect the problem may be related to:
touch/click event handling;
hover/focus behavior on mobile;
.wd-nav-mobile;
.wd-side-hidden;
.wd-nav-opener;
submenu/dropdown handling;
overlay or pointer-events behavior inside the off-canvas mobile menu.For now, we are testing a temporary CSS/JS patch, but we need the proper theme-level recommendation to avoid breaking submenu behavior or future updates.
Thank you.
May 5, 2026 at 4:47 pm #717665Hello,
Could you please record a video that demonstrates this issue so we can see and reproduce it?
Also, try to disable all plugins that somehow optimize your website and JS/CSS files. Test without optimizations and see if anything changes.Kind Regards

skibinskiyParticipantHow to record that, because I will not be able to see how my typing, scrolling, or clicking freezes happen?
May 6, 2026 at 10:03 am #717721OK, let us test it. Please disable the plugins as per my previous reply so we can see how it works without them.

sharing it via google drive, plugins were disabled
May 6, 2026 at 12:16 pm #717741Thank you for the video. As we can see, plugins are still active and most likely some of them cause these issues. Please disable them temporarily so we can test from our end as well.

skibinskiyParticipantWebsite: https://www.leador.ro/
Theme: Woodmart 8.4.1
WordPress: 6.9.4
WooCommerce: 10.7.0
PHP: 8.3.6
Tested device: iPhone 12 and 17 Pro Max, iOS 26
Browsers tested: Safari and Chrome on iOSIssue:
The mobile navigation / frontend behavior does not work reliably on iOS. Users need to tap multiple times or the page can become unstable/freezes/crashes. The issue appears on both Safari and Chrome on iOS. Android works correctly.Debugging already performed:
Server-side cache checked.
Varnish tested/purged/removed from the equation.
WP_CACHE enabled.
OPcache increased and now healthy.
Redis/Object Cache tested/removed from the equation.
WP Fastest Cache disabled.
Performance/optimization plugins disabled.
Tracking plugins disabled.
Child theme disabled.
Temporary CSS/JS patches tested and removed.
Tested on iOS Safari and iOS Chrome.
Tested on Android, where the issue does not appear.After eliminating cache, server, tracking and optimization layers, the issue still persists on iOS. This strongly points to a Woodmart frontend compatibility issue with iOS/WebKit.
Suspected areas:
Woodmart mobile off-canvas navigation;
mobile menu touch/click handling;
sticky mobile header;
menu overlay/animation;
product gallery/lightbox/zoom;
WebKit/iOS handling of Woodmart scripts/CSS.Please advise if there is a known fix, setting, patch, or recommended minimal configuration for Woodmart mobile navigation/product pages on iOS. We need a production-safe solution, not a temporary workaround that could break menu/submenu behavior.

skibinskiyParticipantCan you help us? We can’t stay like that; we are losing money every day. I mean, our sales are already 30-40% lower…
May 6, 2026 at 1:15 pm #717755Hello,
We are still ready to help and test this but we need you to disable all plugins that are not related to our theme so we can test. As we can see, they are still active.
Kind Regards
May 6, 2026 at 1:27 pm #717756
skibinskiyParticipantFeel free to disable them. I give you permission to do it.
I’m sharign with your user and pass.May 6, 2026 at 1:29 pm #717757Please disable them on your own so we don’t break anything. Also, make a manual backup of your website before doing this test.
May 6, 2026 at 1:31 pm #717758
skibinskiyParticipantAll plugins are off now
May 6, 2026 at 1:34 pm #717762
skibinskiyParticipantback up is done
May 6, 2026 at 2:20 pm #717774Thank you. We have tested your website for some time, but can’t see any lag in taps and scrolling on iOS. Here is a video https://drive.google.com/file/d/19fjMsj-yYqmVeOaeLlXtOHew729nms9v/view?usp=sharing
The only problem we noticed is a flickering of the mobile menu, but it seems to be caused by the custom CSS you added to your website https://take.ms/SeBn9Kind Regards

May 7, 2026 at 11:15 am #717828You are always welcome. Let me know if you sorted it out or still have any questions we can help you with.
