My server has 2‑CPU cores, 4GB RAM and 5‑Mbps bandwidth. Due to extremely high resource consumption, the site often becomes inaccessible, with CPU hitting 99% or memory reaching 100% at times.

High CPU or memory usage can have many possible causes and cannot be attributed to the theme without testing. Please temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme and check whether the issue still occurs.
You can also deactivate your plugins one by one, checking the website after each step, to identify whether a particular plugin is causing the high resource consumption.
