Need help with Header banner

What text is expected in “Banner link” field? I’ve tried different combinations: site address, welcome text, <H3> block, block – no meter, nothing is shown up while empty block appears on the top above the header

Thank you for reply, but my question about banner that supposed to appear above the header. Please, see attached snapshot. I want a message on the red line above the main header.
This section in Theme “Customization” is called “Shop” – “Header Banner”

You can add a message in the banner above the header from Theme Settings >> Shop >> Header Banner. You have to write your line in the text block of Banner Content.

I was trying to use Appearance -> Customize -> Shop -> Header Banner instead of Theme Setting -> Shop -> Header Banner, which has much less options. In this form I was able to do what I needed
