Need template for elementor quickly please!

Hi,

I’m trying to get a full width product description like this page – https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/furniture/eames-lounge-chair/

But I can’t find a way to do it. I’m using Elementor Pro and I’ve just found out the library of 300+ templates is not included in Woodmart? Is that true? When I started this site I chose Elementor because I am more used to it but I don’t remember your docs saying anything about the lack of the library. Disappointing 🙁

Please can you upload what I need asap.

For now, Elementor does not have such a template library, however, we are working on it. It is a time-consuming issue that is why we cannot provide it quickly.

If you have uploaded the full demo, you can find the template among HTML blocks in
Lamp extra content Save it as the template and create your own HTML block and build your one as per your needs.

Thanks for the reply. I have a copy of Lamp Extra Content but it’s a WP Bakery template. Is there an elementor one?

While I wait for that, I’m trying other things. No luck.

1) If I create a full-width html block and use After Content, it shows up after the buy box but before the tabs

2) If I use Before Content it comes up before the buy area/product image

3) If I put footer, it shows up after related products. If I turn those off then it ‘works’ but I still need a description or the tab is removed

4) If I put it in the description as [html_block id="8990"] etc, that works but that’s not what you said to do? Any problems with this solution? Can I remove ALL content in the description except for the block? One problem seems to be the search doesn’t search the content so customers won’t be able to find products based on any text in a block in a product description? 🙁

Hello,

Your site was based on WP bakery page builder and you just switched to Elementor. It is not possible to convert an existing site that is built on WP bakery page builder into Elementor. In order to have a site basing on the Elementor builder, it is necessary to replicate the site from scratch on a new WordPress installation with the Elementor plugin.

Also, thanks for confirming I need to use it in the main product description. That is the only way I could get it to work.

But this means none of the text is searchable. Is it possible to make it searchable by the customer?

If you still want to do that, you need to insert the template into the Product description and edit as per your needs.

Sorry you can’t understand me but you didn’t add the attachment the first time.

My second question is really simple.

If I put

‘This product is really nice’

in the product description box, and someone searches on the site for nice, the product will show up.

But if I do an HTML block with

‘This product is really nice’

along with some fancy graphics, fonts, layout etc and someone searches on the site for nice, the product will not show up.

So by using this method, the functionality of the site is weakened.

Is there a way to make the search feature also search the content of any html blocks in the description?

You do not need to insert the HTML block.

You upload this block, save as a template, and insert it in the product description. https://wpbuilt.co/tutorials/how-to-save-import-export-templates-in-elementor/

When your product description is made in Elementor without HTML block it should find the product properly.

Hit a huge snag.

I use WooCommerce Custom Fields plugin by Right Press and whenever I edit the product description in Elementor, it wipes ALL of the custom field data.

Any idea why? I’ll ask them too of course but do you have any idea from your end?

Actually, forget that. I’ve moved to Advanced Custom Fields and that is working fine. Clearly a bug with the Woocommerce Custom Fields plugin. Thanks for your help.
