When using the Xtemos Nested Carousel Element for Elementor, and embedding the Xtemos Video Element for Elementor, within the carousel slides, has mixed results when clicking the Video button.
When the video button is applied to a slide, it opens Vimeo content, which by default opens in the same page as a modal window (exactly as we need it to). In some cases though, the user is linked directly to the Vimeo URL/page, instead of staying within the same page.
An example of this can be found on the linked page i have provided:
– Where we have a video button on slide 1 of 10 on the “Vortex Xenon™ Features” slice – this appears to open the modal window fine.
– However, from the same slide 1 of 10, if we click back (left arrow within carousel) one slide, to slide 10 of 10, the same button element (but setup for different video content) links directly to the Vimeo URL, which means we have left the website for vimeo.com.
Unfortunately, this case isn’t consistent and the more you play with this issue, it becomes progressively difficult to see a a pattern. We have occasionally seen slides which have displayed the video in a modal window, as desired, later function incorrectly as a direct link to a Vimeo URL, when the slide is revisited and the video button clicked a second time!?
