New attributes creation from product creation page,

Can the attributes added while product creation not appear in the attributes page? Also if these attributes and its terms are not added in the attributes page, it doesn’t allows to show in product’s additional information table. And how can these attributes be shown on categories or sub-category page?

You need to create attributes via Products -> Attributes to have the ability to assign them in widgets area, in elements, etc. Even to have the functionality for swatches the attributes should be created via Products -> Attributes.
