"NO PRODUCTS IN THE CART " after Add to Cart

    Dear Support,

    After I click the Add to Cart button, “NO PRODUCTS IN THE CART.” is displayed in the mini-cart. This does not happen all the time, sometimes the product is successfully added, sometimes i get this message.

    I have tried to disable all plugins but I am unable to figure out the exact reason.

    Do you have any idea which settings can cause this?

    It seems like a caching problem. I am using Wp Rocket. Please check the below links.

    Hello,

    WP Rocket influences the WooCommerce functionality. If you test the issue with any default theme you will have the same problem. Our theme does not influence.

    Dear Team,

    Right now WP Rocket is deactivated. I am facing issues with Cloudflare. Apparently, cloudflare is caching the mini cart page. When I clear cloudflare cache the shopping cart dropdown widget works for 1 Add to cart. If I close the window and log in again in Incognito mode, Do add to cart then I get “NO PRODUCT IN THE CART” message in the mini cart. At the same time, when I access the cart page the product is visible.

    It seems that cloudflare is caching the AJAX. I have found the below article which discusses how to stop ajax caching, but I have no idea what page rule I should add..

    Please let me know how to sort this out as my customers are seriously affected because of this.

    Since this functionality is related to WooCommerce plugin you need to either contact cloudflare support or WooCommerce. We don’t have an instruction for this.

    Dear Support,

    I have deactivated Ajax Add to Cart as mini-cart was not updating after pressing the ATC button.

    Currently, after pressing add to cart button, the page updates but the minicart does not show automatically. Is it possible to show the minicart sidebar automatically after non-ajax Add to cart?

    No, in order to show products in mini-cart AJAX should be activated.

    Dear Support,

    Is Woodmart compatible with the Woocommerce Currency Switcher? The minicart widget is showing “NO PRODUCTS IN THE CART” after the add to cart button is pressed. When I deactivate Woocommerce Currency Switcher the problem resolves.

    I have deactivated all caching and only 6 plugins are active. It is easy to reproduce the problem on the Mobile (Please use chrome inspector and switch to mobile view or check the website on your mobile)

    Hello mazs91,

    I can understand the severity of the problem when you say 20+ hours. Did you then solve the issue with woodmart and currency switcher? We are exactly in same situation. Already spent lots of hours if not 20! It would be very helpful if you can tell us how you resolved the problem finally.
