NO SALES POSSIBLE: ADD TO CART IS LOADING ENDLESSLY

Hello, we have an urgent problem: When a customer clicks on “add to cart” the progress indicator is loading endlessly without any confirmation that it was added to the cart. Then, when clicking on another page, it can appear in the shopping cart. But without knowing this trick no one can place an order. Customers already wrote us that they can’t order.
Can you help us please?
Second question: We placed the information that we’re having this issue on top of our home page. Can we place it above the product in the shop as well temporarily?

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated and provide the site admin access to the private area
