No wrong password error in login page & why it redirects to Admin’s login
-
Please help, to improve the log in’s UX issue, which causes my site lost many customer during the registration step.
When a customer enter wrong password in at the customer’s log in page, it supposes to show the error message “you enter wrong password” , to let user knows what happened.
Somehow, current theme doesn’t show any error message, which caused a lot of confusion to many customers. And after, the page also redirected to Admin’s log in page without any clue (https://websitename/wp-login.php?).

Hello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
Looking forward to hearing back from you!
Kind Regards
Dear Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. We’ve encountered an issue with our login page, which is redirecting users to the WordPress backend login page when they enter random usernames, passwords, or incorrect information.
Upon investigation, we identified that this issue arose due to a recent change in the WordPress URL structure. Initially, we had utilized Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE) to modify the WordPress login URL. However, we have since reverted it back to the default URL (/wp-admin/).
While the login error notification appears to be functioning correctly now, our preference is to continue using a custom WordPress login URL for enhanced security. We are wondering if there might be a solution or an update to our theme that allows us to maintain this custom URL while resolving the redirection issue.
Hello,
Sorry, but those functionalities are related to WooCommerce so it will be better to ask the WooCommerce support team to add such functionality because everything related to the account refers to WooCommerce.
Please feel welcome to reach out to me with any questions you may have and I would be more than happy to help.
Kind Regards
