Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
It happens because you have different aspect ration for images uploaded to your products. If you want to make all products inline you need to upload all images with the same proportion. Otherwise, you can enable hard crop in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display and regenerate all thumbnails. But it will crop your images and in some cases, it may look incorrect.
Regards

MAYZELParticipantthats the first thing i did i change the image size then regenerated thumb nails and no change
January 2, 2018 at 6:45 pm #31305
MAYZELParticipantits ok i did it the width and the height have to be the same on the product main immage
January 2, 2018 at 6:55 pm #31306

MAYZELParticipantanyway of having the swatch under the writing so the writing stays in line?
January 2, 2018 at 8:56 pm #31333
Artem TemosKeymasterYou can move swatches under the title only with additional customization of the file
woodmart / woocommerce / content-product-base.php
January 5, 2018 at 11:41 am #31632
MAYZELParticipantyes that looks beaut thanks just have to amend picture size as it crops its
January 5, 2018 at 11:43 am #31633
MAYZELParticipantActually this just corrupts when you click the swatch?

Artem TemosKeymasterYes, but you upload images with different proportions for your variations. If you want to enable the hard crop, you need to enable it for single product images as well.
January 5, 2018 at 1:22 pm #31673
MAYZELParticipantwhat size height would i make a variation then Product?
Surely this is so long winded when a simple css code to put it under title or above the phot would make things so much quicker when listing variations.
how do other sites look?
January 5, 2018 at 1:29 pm #31676
MAYZELParticipantprobably best to not use swatches and just copy products.
But the only thing with this is when i upload a product on WP-lister for ebay
January 5, 2018 at 2:14 pm #31700
Artem TemosKeymasterThe best way to fix this issue is to use images in the same proportions. It is not possible to fix them with CSS.
January 5, 2018 at 2:53 pm #31707
MAYZELParticipanti have set all images to 750×750 to get the same.
Ill play around when listing products
January 6, 2018 at 7:39 am #31765
Artem TemosKeymasterBut if you don’t enable Hard crop option and upload images, for example, 800×1000 they will not be 750×750.
January 6, 2018 at 6:06 pm #31822
MAYZELParticipantBut wont hard crop then cut half the image
January 6, 2018 at 6:14 pm #31823
MAYZELParticipanti have done hard crop see how i get on when i upload more products,
I also have a solution too, i can list single product images as a single variation, this way there will be a swatch on all photos to look even 🙂
January 6, 2018 at 6:26 pm #31828
MAYZELParticipantyes look i i look on h&M website and this is what they do to keep it look tight>

Artem TemosKeymasterBut the H&M website looks this way because they upload all images in the same size initially. They change their images size each time they upload them to products.
January 6, 2018 at 6:43 pm #31837
MAYZELParticipantYes but this way it doesn’t cut the image on the catalogue page
suppose they have all there own photos taken them selves,
Where as i have different photos from different people.
Is there a video on this for some extra support.
January 6, 2018 at 7:05 pm #31843
Artem TemosKeymasterWe are a bit confused with this problem at the moment. Could you please describe it from scratch?
There are only two ways to make all images look the same in WooCommerce:
1. Enable hard crop option.
2. Upload all images in the same aspect ratio initially.
As we can understand, you can use the hard crop option only. What difficulty do you have with this method?
January 6, 2018 at 7:37 pm #31850
MAYZELParticipantno its because of the swatch it makes them out of line, but when you gave me the code to move the swatch above the title.
All the big websites have the swatch underneath, the title,
i will just upload every item with a swatch. to keep it even
January 6, 2018 at 7:38 pm #31851
MAYZELParticipanthow many people handle this support forum?
January 6, 2018 at 7:44 pm #31854
Artem TemosKeymasterCurrently, there is only me on the support forum.
So you want to move swatches under the title?
January 6, 2018 at 8:07 pm #31857
MAYZELParticipantyes this would be easier for me i think because my website not all products suit a swatch
January 6, 2018 at 8:17 pm #31858
MAYZELParticipantany way of having this like so it stay inline at the arrow,
I create a blank swatch but on the product page its as a drop down option

Artem TemosKeymasterYou can move swatches under the title only with additional customization of the file
woodmart / woocommerce / content-product-base.php
And we don’t quite understand your last question, could you please explain a bit?
January 7, 2018 at 4:10 pm #31936
MAYZELParticipantit doesn’t matter i have installed a plugin Woo Display Variations On Catalog Listing Pages.
This ends all the trouble. i did ask you about this before. ive always wanted this set up;)
I have put the code in for future use 🙂
January 7, 2018 at 8:49 pm #31964
Artem TemosKeymasterGreat, we are glad that you have found the solution.
