Notification bar (login/logout)

Hi there,

We’re hosting our page on Kinsta. Usually, whenever a user creates a new account or trigger a logout activity, we could see a notification bar from the theme at the bottom of the page.

In case of a new account creation, it was mentioned: Please check your emails to activate your account.

On logout: Are you sure you want to logout? Yes, confirm.

However, this bar isn’t showing up on our page anymore. Is this bar somehow cached?

No, it will not be cached, it should show fine every time.

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme, switch the parent theme, and check the issue, If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

If the problem remains, even after the plugins are deactivated, please, provide your site admin access to the private area.

Please confirm the permit for us to deactivate the plugins not related to the theme and switch to the parent theme for the whole of checking what may take up to 15 minutes. Please make the full backup of your site.

Many thanks for your feedback. Yes, you could temporary deactivate all plugins.

We just did it by ourselves and can still not see the notification bars after a new account registration and/or logout activity. We deactivated all plugins and switched back to the Woodmart regular theme (not Child Theme).

Temporary WP admin access can be found below. We also created a backup of our staging page.

Hello,

The sticky notifications option is Deprecated in our latest update of the theme starting from version 6.0 that’s why the notifications are not displaying.

If the sticky notifications are depricated, how does a user who registers on the site gets somehow a „system feedback“?

For example:

„You‘re account has been created. Check your emails to activate your account. Didn‘t receive the mail? Send again.“

Also on our site, if a member want‘s to logout, he‘ll be redirected to the My Account page with no system feedback. Then they have to click „logout“ again to basically really logout.

Many thanks. So there‘s no feedback/message at all anymore if someone registers using the Woodmart theme?

Without any system response after a registration it feels like an error to users, as they don‘t know what happens after they clicked on the register button after filling the username and password. Right now the same page loads again without any indication of what just happened after a registration.

Apologize for asking again – I’m just not sure if this is really the case?

Hello,

All these notifications are the Woocommmerce functionality and they remain. The user will see them as it has always been, however, we disable the sticky feature, which means they would appear by default in the same way as they appear in Woocommerce.
