Option to add menu to megamenu through extra menu list?

Hi,

I don’t have the option to add menu to extra menu list, I can only insert list items one by one, why there is no option to add a menu from the appearance > menus?

Let’s say i have created a menu with woo categories in appearance > menus, now I have to manually enter the title/name and url foreach category for the extra menu list?

Is there a way to add a menu from the menus because in case I change the slug of a category or categories ( hopefully no ) I have to change the url in the menu that has more than 100 categories, that’s a double job and can lead to huge mistakes if not done correctly.

Maybe I am missing something, can you help me please?

Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings that you can add the menu items automatically to in the extra menu list.

You have to add them manually.

You can try adding the mega menu widget element and then select the menu to be displayed.

But the layout of the mega menu widget element is different from the extra menu list items. And there is no option to change it.

That just doesn’t make any sense, not be able to select a menu in the megamenu and display it in the column, it just doesn’t.

The option you provided is terrible, does not look good at all. The only other option is to add the wordpress widget menu but it also looks terrible, has border arround it.

How can I insert the menu from the menus and look the same as extra menu list, I just need that option?

Every time I change the slug for multiple categories based on the seo I will have to manually change the url of each element in the megamenu, come on.

Please provide me working solution.

You were asking to add the menu from the Appearance >> Menus that’s why I provided you with the option.

It is not an issue, it’s the default behavior of the extra menu list that you need to add items to them manually.

Sorry, but there is no such option in Theme Settings to add the menu the same as the extra menu list from the Appearance >> Menus automatically.

It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.

You need to add them manually.
