order of the posts on blog archive page

    Hi, how do I set the order of the blog posts on the blog archive page? I would like them in reverse chronology by date published (not date updated) but now the dates there is a Sept 2022 (last year) appearing first before Nov 2023 (this year) posts. And three posts in this sequence: April May April

    There is no such an option by default.

    Hi, so how are posts ordered then, by default? Curious why it’s not reverse chronological by default since that’s kind of a WordPress default for archive pages —— and is there a workaround to make it appear in the reverse date order of publication date/time?

    Hi distillery,

    The output of blog posts is a default functionality of WordPress. But there is no such option to change the order of posting posts either in the WordPress settings or in the theme settings.
