OT: Edit logo link in header

What modifications I need to do in the functions.php to change the url of the logo in the header?

I have a multilingual ecommerce site in language subfolders. If I am in example.com/it/ and click on the logo it redirects the user to example.com/ instead of example.com/it/.

I am not using WPML or anything. Separate WP installations, linked with hreflangs.

I know this is out of support scope, but still if any good soul is willing to help I would appreciate it.

Actually, if you have a separate installation with different URL, each website logo should lead to its home page already. Check your URLs configuration for both websites.
