Out of stock for variations

Hi,
When a variation is out of stock for a products we wanted to have a red cross or something to understand the viewer that is out of stock without having to click on the variation to display that is out of stock, currently in woodmart we have it correctly setup under attributes but is not showing and we have to choose the variation to show this.
So can you please get me some instruction how do I achieve this ?

Navigate to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Inventory and enable the “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” option.

Then the styles for the out of stock variations will be enabled from the theme.

I did that and the out of stock color variation is not clickable now. But what I wanted was to show user a cross mark over that particular color variation that has no stock. For example this product(picture attached) has no stock in the Pink color. I want to show a cross mark over the pink color.

Now you need to set an appropriate style for the out-of-stock products in Products -> Attributes -> edit the color attribute and in its settings set an appropriate design: https://prnt.sc/QUizhiiAwW6f
