out of stock products still showing in product count in catergories

Hi there,

Can I ask you how could I recount the products on my categories with some code?

I have over 10000 products on my website and many of them are hidden due to they are out of stock!

Then, when you visit a category of mine, the count still seems to calculate and the products that are out of stock! Could we fix this somehow in order not to confuse our customers while they are navigating into our website?

Please check the issue on one of the default themes to understand if our theme causes the problem.

I have tested it with one of WordPress’s default themes and the issue is still there. Of course, it is not your theme causing the problem, but do you have any solutions on this? Any recommended plugins that could help?

Hello,

We suspect that this is the issue of plugins conflict. If you see the same situation on the default theme, deactivated all the third parties plugins not related to the theme and activate them one by one to discover which one influence.

Make sure you have set to hide the out of stock products in Woocommerce > Settings
