    Hi
I set product variation’s stock status and amount for each variation and for some reason it’s still displayed as in stock.
But if added to cart it shows out of stock message.
In the attribute setting it should get the X design on top of the variation swatch.
In the code I see it’s enabled. So it will never get the disabled design.
    Please advise.

    Hello,

Navigate to Products > Attributes > edit attribute > Choose the disabled swatch. The disabled Swatch style is for the variants of the Products which are disabled not for the Out of Stock variants. So, you need to have the variant of the Product not checked with the Enable option on it and then the Disabled Swatch style will work accordingly. See these images for reference:

    Hi
Most users knows that a disbled option is becuase it’s out of stock. How can they know what is the difference between a disabled swatch and an out of stock swatch? It’s practically the same.

Also – when I try to disable the variation as you showed me, it won’t save. I tried also with the parent theme and the checkbox it getting rechecked everytime after saving.

    Hello,

Please update the new version of the theme “WOODMART WordPress NEW: 7.4.3 RELEASED” and update the required plugin and check the option.
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/

If the issue still remains, deactivate the third party plugins on your site and check how it works. If the issue still persists, let me know I will further check on your site and check the issue.

    Best Regards.

I updated theme and plugins and disabled all unrequired plugins.
I am able to uncheck the checkbox and save it.
However, the variation in the site is still enabled and doesn’t get the disabled design.
Can you please take a look?

and the plugin that is causing the “uncheck” issue is Polylang (free not pro).
I can’t disable this plugin. Is there something we can do to bypass it?

    #534853

    Hello,

Please confirm the permission for plugin deactivation, and switch to the parent/default theme. As soon as we complete the testing of this plugin we will enable it all back.

Looking forward to collaborating with you!

    Best Regards.

    Hello,

I have tested this feature on your site and now it is working fine. First, I have deactivated the plugins not related to the theme, then disabled the show single variation from theme settings > Shop > variable product. You need to activate the plugins one by one to check which one causes the issue.

In this product you can check this:
    https://youniqo.com/product/disable-swatches-in-wood

    Best Regards.

I must be blind as I have no idea what is working fine exactly.
The White XS variation is disabled and set to 0 stock.
But the disabled design is STILL NOT visible on the site, I don’t get out of stock message and the product can be added to cart.
Please see this video, I’m getting frustrated

    Hi
I don’t understant anything from the video. you keep showing me it’s working for the product you created but not working for the product I’m asking you about.

What do you mean I need to add attribute again?
I need to create all variations all over again? Why?
Why should I do such work if something in the theme is not wroking correctly?
Fix the theme’s code to fetch the data correctly.
I can’t go over 450 products and set them again just becuase the theme can’t tell if it’s disabled or enabled.

    Please advise.

    Hi
I checked it and it worked.
Then I changed back to my child theme and enabled all other plugins and it also worked.
When I fianlly checked enable/disable and different stock statuses it suddenly stopped working again.
Now I changed it back to the parent theme and all plugins are disabled, but it’s still not working.
If it works, it must work with parent theme as well, so I don’t understand how sometimes it works and sometimes it’s not. I need to be sure it will continue working correctly when plugins are disbled and parent/child themes are switched. I can’t check it everytime again and again.
    Please check again.

I got a phone call from my client and he is super angry as this thing takes more than a week to be solved and still not solved!
His website is live and looks like a complete mess for more than a week becuase parent theme is enabled and all other plugins are disabled.
Please give this issue the highest priority possible so it can be fixed ASAP.
    Thanks
    Hofit

    Hello,

You need to activate the parent theme on your site and reactivate the plugins one by one to check which one causes the issues.

Sometimes, outdated or cached files can cause display issues. You need to clear your browser cache while checking the issue.

    Best Regards.
