Out of stock/ Waitlist product page

Hi,
When a product is out of stock on the product page you see the message Out of stock, but the add to cart button is still showing. Is there a way to don’t show the add to cart button when products are out of stock?
We also want to enable the waitlist, but then you see the add to cart button first and then the waitlist block. This is very confusing.
Ideal should be that the add to cart button is not shown when out of stock.
